Boy, this case says, "1940s" just about as loudly and clearly as possible. Very Joan Crawford's Hollywood! Deep red faux patent leather bag, with a very sturdy, top stitched handle that has a a 3" drop. Opens with a heavy duty metal zipper that goes three-quarters of the way around the bag. Lining is matching "quilted" red vinyl. One large pocket inside the lid. All brass fittings, including four large, round feet. Case is 13" wide by 6" high by 7 1/" deep. Excellent vintage condition. Use it tomorrow!
