Vintage hand tooled leather briefcase or bookbag. It's in such great condition, it would make a great gift! Label says, "Genuine Leather / Avelar / Guaranty Quality / Made in Mexico." From the 1930s or 1940s. Completely lined in black leather. Center divider with pocket and metal zipper. One index-card sized pocket. Slide closure. Four brass feet. Double handle with 6" drop above the bag. Piping at the seams. One pocket on the outside back of the bag. Satchel measures 15" wide at the base, by 10" high, by 6" deep. Mint condition. No problems at all.
