Top Grain Cowhide by The Atlas Company

I'm not quite sure which of these marks is THE mark for the company that made this amazing biefcase: either the tiny gold "Wilt / Founded 1862" in a tiny font on the front of the case, or "The Atlas Company / Boston / Brief-O-Fold" on the tiny brass plate on the inside spine of the case. In any case, this is gorgeous, high quality leather ("Top Grain Cowhide" is embossed on the inside spine) briefcase or portfolio. Zips all around with a heavy duty brass zipper. Two handles with a 3" drop. Four folder/pockets inside, each with accordian-pleated sides. Small "F.J.A." in gold on the front of the case. (You could tell people the initials belonged to your great aunt Frances.) Every part of this case is beautifully made, top stitched, reinforced, etc. 16" wide by 12" high by 3 1/4" deep. Case is in great condition, with a few tiny bangs and bruises. Interior is mint!
