Jean Fogel's very distinctive organizer-satchel handbag in olive green (or camouflage green) leather. The label says, "Jean Fogel / Paris / New York" with Fogel's trademark rooster head or cock's head embroidered on the label. A tiny embossed metal cock is attached to the center of the front flap, too. Inside, the satchel has two central dividers with pockets that close with metal zippers. The large pocket on the back wall of the bag has a metal zipper, too. The bag has an intricate brass closure, four brass feet, and hand stitched top-stitching. The double handles have a 10" drop. The leather portions of the bag are self-lined with the leather's own suede. This Jean Fogel vintage satchel is 12 1/2" wide, by 7 1/2" high, by 6 1/4" deep. Generous side gussets, with pleats.
