Chinament on Red Cotton Canvas Bag

This image--of the parade of Chinamen--looks like a batik, although that is unlikely, I'm sure. However they were produced, the Chinamen are gorgeous, and they are on both the front and the back of the bag. Fabric is canvas weight, and lined with off-white cotton. Bamboo poles for the frame. Double cording handles with a 5" drop. Frog and bamboo button closure. Bag measures 13" wide at the base, by 9" high, by 5" deep with wide side gussets. Bag is in mint condition.
