1970s Hand Made Bag with Horn Latch

Nicely designed and constructed "hippie" shoulder bag from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Never carried. Leather bag is in mint condition. The detail is especially nice. Notice how the appliqued diamonds on the front of the bag are echoed by the diamond stitching on the strap. Stain is done very well, too. Stitching is waxed nylon, I think. One patch pocket on the inside of the bag. 2" wide strap has an extra-long adjustible strap with a 48" maximum drop and a heavy iron buckle. Strap can easily be worn across body. The vintage hippie shoulder bag measures 9 1/2" wide by 9" high by 2" deep. Very nice horn closure.
