Forsum Wicker Bag Made in Hong Kong

Late 1940s or early 1950s wicker bag, made of rattan rods wrapped and woven with wicker strips. Ox blood leather trim, including a handle with a 8" drop and lots of rivets. Leather flap and twist closure, plus leather hinge at back, also with lots of rivets. Bag sits on a 1/4" ridge at the base, instead of brass feet. Lined with off-white linen. 7" wide at the base, 8 1/2" wide at the top, by 5 1/2" high, by 5" deep at the top. Bag is in nearly mint condition. As you can see from the image, some very slight smudges inside.
