Clearly marked (inside the attached coin purse) as the product of Le Bagagerie, Paris, the famous mid-century modern design house, the silk brocade clutch is a small work of art. The brocade is exquisite, in shades of copper and teal, with metallic gold and silky cream highlights. Beautifully made with a hand strap on the back, pleated side gussets and tapered base, and permanently attched coin purse with a kiss clasp. Lined in creamy tan silk faille. Two inside pockets, along with coin purse. Snap closure. 7" wide at the widest point, by 4 1/2" high, by 2" deep (side gussets extended.) Excellent vintage condition.
