What Details! Gorgeous Ashneil Satchel

Exquisite lizard (or faux lizard--I really can't tell on this one) satchel from Ashneil, the maker that I consider the most neglected in the vintage bag world. Simply splendid detail. For example, the buckle and straps on the front open completely. No fake fittings here! The bag is lined in gorgeous gold suede, and it has one large zippered pocket, plus two open pockets. Brass "Ashneil" label inside. Piping and top stitching. Side gussets are very deep, and they are held together nicely with little straps and brass pegs. Four brass feet. Handles are well padded and semi-rigid, with 5" drops. This vintage Ashneil bag measures 9 1/2" wide by 7" high by 5 1/2" deep. Nearly mint condition. (The only, tiny, flaw is what looks like the first owner's initials inside. Looks like she didn't use it!) (Marked down from $110.00.)
