Beautifully Made in France, Cromer Case

I'm not sure what this elegant case was intended for. It is clearly marked, "Cromer" and "Marque Deposse" and "Made in France" and "9 1/2 H." At first glance, I thought it was a glove case. But, it is really too narrow and not really deep enough. Anyway . . . Use it as you will! Beautifully supple alligator lined in gold silk twill. Snap closeure. Double top stitching at every seam. 12" wide by 4" high. Marked in pencil, "$3.50," on the inside of the flap. Aside from that mark, absolutely mint, never used.
