1970s Coach shoulder bag with the number 948-4511. The Coach creed inside the bag has the "Made in New York City, U.S.A." statement, as well as the "Coach Leatherware" logo. (The hang tag was lost long ago.) This is the famous, or infamous, double Coach, with identical flaps, closure clasps, and compartments on both sides of the bag. The only difference is the inside pocket and Coach creed in one compartment, only. Strap is attached with locking brass hooks, is completely removeable, and has an 18" drop. The bag measures 11" wide by 7" high by 3" deep. The compartments are completely clean and fresh on the inside. The outside of the bag has a few dings. Excellent vintage condition.
