Fantastic Deitsch Bag w/ Many Angles

Deitsch! I don't find them very often, and when I do, I'm very happy! The construction is simply impeccable. This bag has a metal frame--goldtone and in excellent condition. The frame is topped with a thin stability bar, wrapped in lizard. The sides of the bag are constructed with inset triangles, on all four sides, so that this bag has four more seams than a handbag usually has. The seams give the bag a fascinating, 1940s angular appearance. There's a tab at the front and a snap closure, with a brass finial. The handle is lizard lined with leather, has a 6 1/2" drop, and is fastened to the bag with rivets, so that it swings freely. The lining is rust-colored leather, with the Deitsch reptile logo, three pockets, and the matching leather coin purse. This vintage Deitsch bag is 9" wide by 6" high by 4" deep at the widest point.
