Leather Lining for Vintage Alligator Bag

I miss Marshall Field's. Don't you? Or whatever independent department store you had, instead of Macy's?

Anyway, this bag brings back old times! The embroidered fabric label says, "Marshall Field and Company." This is a terrific vintage alligator bag, in the pouch style, rather than the frame style. At the top, there's a ribbon of metal, curved and rounded at both ends, then inlayed with alligator skins. The entire ribbon is actually the finial for the snap closure. The handle is attached with nuts and bolts. It swings freely, is lined in brown leather, and has a 6" drop. It is lined in warm tan suede leather, and it has three pockets, two trimmed with brown leather piping. The lining is in perfect condition. The bag measures 8 1/2' wide at the base, by 9" high, by 2 1/2" deep. Skins are supple and in perfect condition. This Marshall Field alligator bag is in mint, never carried condition.
