Vintage snake skin box handbag from the 1940s. Large, round Eames era brass button-style finial is seriously notable! Lining is soft, tan leather with two pockets, one with a metal zipper, plus a matching leather coin purse that's attached with a fine gold tone chain. Rigid metal frame, wrapped in snake skin, as well as the sides, base, and top of the bag. Wide handle is snake skin on the top with leather lining. It has a 6 1/4" drop. Bag measures 7" wide by 6" high by 3 1/2" deep. Excellent vintage condition. Lining has some light stains and handle shows some wear.
