Brass box with a striking art deco design fashioned into the brass. I think this bag is a 1920's piece, because the later brass boxes weren't hand fashioned, were lined in hand tailored black silk faille, and were smaller. The back of this bag has a pebbled pattern. Piano hinge at the base. Large kiss clasp, plus closely fitting collar. Sturdy brass chain has a 28" drop. Bag is 7" wide, by 4" high, by 2 1/2" deep at the deepest point. Excellent vintage condition. Carry the sunrise on your shoulder! (Marked down from $88.00.)
