I've got to look up this kind of drawstring bag. I think maybe the materials came in kits, sometime during the early 1950s. But I'm not sure. Maybe it was the 1940s. They all have plastic bases and are crocheted directly to the plastic base. This one is VERY well made. It is tightly crocheted with heavy cotton cord. The silver stripes are metallic silver, with gleaming silver balls. The bag is lined with navy blue faille, and it has two neat, Eames era silver beads on the cording. 7 3/4" in diameter, by 8" high. MINT, never carried. (Marked down from $44.00.)
