Great Period Piece: Jolles Original Bag

Dark red cotton velveteen bag with a strikingly pretty, very unusual portrait of a lady, possibility a princess. Her gown or robe are done in wool needlepoint stitching, while her very pretty face and her hands are done in wool petit point. The portrait has a gold braid headband and one large, rhinestone earring. The background is hundreds of tiny beads. The bag is in black twill. One inside pocket with gold piping. Clearly marked, "Jolles Original." Heavy gold chain has a 7" drop. Bag measures 9 1/2" wide at the base, by 9 1/2" high by 2" deep (extended.) Excellent vintage condition. No missing beads or stitches.
