Spectacular Clasp for Whiting Davis Bag

Gorgeous clasp--I'm afraid my images don't show it off very well. A generously deep piece of mother of pearl was polished, then deeply scored and marked with gold, as is the starburst pattern scored around the rhinestone in the center. Gold metal mesh clutch by Whiting and Davis. Clearly marked with the Whiting and Davis logo, "Made in U.S.A." and the bag's style number, 2978. 6" wide at the base, by 4" high. Mint condition.
