Glamorous vintage Whiting and Davis evening bag in silver--the kind that everyone wants. (Getting harder and harder to find, too.) All silver mesh with the famous Whiting and Davis filigree frame. (Filigree on both sides of the frame, of course.) Clearly stamped with the "Whiting and Davis" logo on the frame, along with "Made in U.S.A" and the style number, 2897. Lined with creamy, off-white faille, with the fabric Whiting and Davis tag. Original mirror inside--and in excellent condition, too. Heavy, sparkling chain handle has a 4 1/4" drop. Bag measures 5 1/2" wide at the base, by 5" high. MINT!
