eVintage Whiting and David evening bag. Gold mesh bag with scalloped frame. Very Eames era moderne clasp with three prong- set 30 rhinestones in a row. This bag is rather large, at 9" wide at the base by 5 1/4" high. Very nice triple link chain has a 4" drop. Clearly marked "Whiting and Davis Mesh Bags" and "Made in U.S.A." on both sides of the frame. Fabric tag says the same. One inside pocket. Lined in dark gold faille. Nicely padded. Whiting and Davis quality. MINT condition. Absolutely never carried. (Marked down from $74.00.)
