Collector's Alert: Brown Leather Rambler

1940s Pebbled Leather Rambler Handbag

bags,accessories

Wonderful pebbled leather bag direct from the 1940s to you! This style was called the "Rambler," and I'm sure it would have been comfortable to carry on long walks. High quality, very sturdy. Deeply textured pebbled leather in dark, dark brown. Great construction, with piping at the seams, plus a heavy duty metal frame that's nicely embossed. The bag has generous side gussets, a center section with a great Eames era brass clas, a slip pocket on either side of the center section, and a card-sized pocket inside. Dark brown faille lining. The bag measures 10" wide at the base, by 7" high, by about 2" deep. Two straps have a 5" drop. Excellent antique condition. (Marked down from $60.00.)
