Wonderful pebbled leather bag direct from the 1940s to you! Clearly marked "Travelers by Embassy," as a type of bag this this style was called the "Rambler," and I'm sure it would be comfortable to carry on long walks. High quality, very sturdy. Deeoly textured pebbled leather in black. Great construction, with piping at the seams, a heavy duty metal frame that's nicely embossed. The bag has generous side gussets, plus a front pocket with an inset, zippered pockets, a zippered pocket inside the center section, and a slip pocket on either side of the center section. Heavy black faille lining. Can you see the large kiss clasp closure? The bag measures 12" wide, by 7 1/2" high, by about 2" deep. Two straps have a 5 1/2" drop. Excellent vintage condition.
