Budd Leather--Never Another Like It!

Have you ever felt Budd leather? It feels like the softest possible silk crepe, with just a touch of "crinkle" to it. It is an amazing texture. Goodness knows how they did it! These little make-up bags (large enough to use as an evening bag) were first made during the 1920s. Many, many clutch bag makers copied this style--for close to the next 100 years! This bag is 6" wide by 5" high. The frame and closure are luminous, transparent Bakelite. The bag is lined in pale beige silk. Excellent vintage conditions. There's some variation in the color of the leather, like a patina, from use. Mint! (Marked down from $44.00.)
