Famous Budd leather clutch, soft leather with just a touch of "crinkle" to it. These little make-up bags (large enough to use as an evening bag) were first made during the 1920s. Many, many clutch bag makers copied this style--for the next 100 years! This bag is 6 1/4" wide by 5 1/2" high. Warm brown leather with reddish highlights plus a luminous, transparent butterscotch Bakelite frame. The bag is lined in ivory faille. Mint condition.
