Spectacular antique bag in flawless condition. Wide, high tortoise shell Lucite frame with black wool pouch, beautifully padded and lined. Frame has a built-in tab and slot closure, with the handles adding extra stability. Wool handles have a 6" drop. Lining is tightly woven black silk twill. Pouch is deeply gathered to the frame. It measures 10" wide at the base, by 5" wide at the top, by 7" high (without the frame,) by 4" deep. Frame adds another 1 3/4" height by 7 1/4" wide at the widest point. The four top corners are flirtatiously curved. Again, this bag is in mint, never carried condition.
