Antique Bag w/ Hanging Gardens Brocade

Such beautiful fabric in such wonderful condition--both the hanging garden brocade on the outside of the bag and the lovely silk lining on the inside of the bag. As I hope you can see, the bag has two complete metal frames, both with kiss clasps, that divide the bag into three sections. Each section is lined with off-white silk. The front section has a small, round mirror in a metal frame backed with more silk, suspended on a silk ribbon from the bag's frame. Probably from the 1920s. 9" wide by 8" high by 1 1/4" deep. The hand strap has a 7" drop. Excellent antique condition.
