Classic vintage satchel or book bag, done in exquisitely soft,
flexible taupe leather. (This is true taupe--the color that
really does go with absolutely anything!) Large enough to hold
an entire week's worth of books! Beautifully made, with 1/2"
leather trim--like bias tape--at all the exposed seams and edges.
Fancy leather "buckles" made of the same leather. Flap closes
with magnets under the leather trim. Bag is lined in soft,
supple brown leather. One large pocket with zipper. Label says,
"Alan Costley / Made in Italy." 14 1/2" wide by 12 1/2" high by
2" deep with separately applied gussets. Shoulder strap has a
20" drop and is well-secured, front and back, with separately
applied leather tabs and brass rings. This bag is in near-mint
condition. The leather just superb.

Vintage Hartmann tweed and leather carry-on bag or overnight
bag. Can be carried either by the padded, semi-rigid handles
with 6" drop, or by the shoulder strap with a 16" to 20" drop.
Shoulder strap has a shoulder guard and hardware that allows it
to be attached to suit a lefty or a righty! Zippered pocket on
the outside front of the bag. Lining is tightly woven, navy
blue nylon. Full pockets with zippers on the inside front and
back walls. Clearly marked with the Hartmann logo. (Plus the
initials JCS. Tell people that she was your great aunt.) Four
rather large black feet. 18" wide by 14 1/2" high by 7 1/2"
deep. Excellent vintage condition. Interior is pristine.

You know you'll be needing the largest possible carry-on bag,
since the airlines are now charging everything you've got in
you wallent in order to check a bag! So, here's a vintage Bill
Blass bag. That big, on the front, compartment unzips on three
sides and is lined with tightly woven, black nylon broadcloth.
That compartment has one very large pocket and three smaller
ones, plus two attached key rings. There are two more outside
pockets, one each on the narrow sides. The main compartment is
also lined with black nylon, with one very large zippered pocket.
Piping at the major seams. Very well constructed. Bill Blass
outside label, zipper pulls. Great leather in great shape. 15"
wide by 13" high by 7" deep. Handles have a 16" drop. Mint!
Perhaps never carried.

Large, retro Tano shoulder bag--a super organizer bag, just
perfect for back to school or other fall activities. A large
bag, its most notable part is the large pocket on the outside
front. The pocket snaps closed at the top and zips open at
the sides to reveal a large calculator pocket, a coin purse with
a snap and flap, a card-sized pocket, and two pencil loops.
There's a large zippered pocket on the outside back, and the
inside is divided into two big sections, one with another
zippered pocket and the Tano New York label. The sections have
separate zippers and close independently. Two handles with 25"
drop. Bag measures 14 1/2" wide by 11 1/2" high, by 3" deep.
Completely lined in brown nylon twill. Excellent vintage
condition.

Very heavy pebbled black leather and smooth chocolate brown
leather for this high-end Bally portfolio. "Bally" engraved on
the latch at the front of the bag, and "Bally" on small brass
plate inside the bag. Small, silver fabric label says, "Bally /
Made in Italy." Padded, semi-rigid handle at the top of the bag
has a 2" drop or it can slide down flat, into the bag. Large
pocket on the front of the portfolio and the entire center
section of the porfolio are lined with off-white or vanilla
colored suede--which is SPOTLESS. Still smells like new leather.
Portfolio measures 15" wide by 11 1/2" high by 2" deep. Closure
works perfectly, but there is no key. Bally portfolio is in
near mint condition. Perhaps never used.

"Travel Magic" is printed in white block letters--and in mirror
print. The brass plate says, "Presented by / George R. Mills,
M.D. / 1966." Do you suppose the doctor made a present to, say,
a high school magic club? This suitcase is very heavy press board
painted deep red, with metal reinforcing strips at the corners
and all the edges. Heavy black plastic handle marked "15." The
case is lined in gray foam rubber. You'll probably want to re-
line it. Excellent vintage condition. Too much fun!
