Vintage hand tooled leather briefcase or bookbag. It's in
such great condition, it would make a great gift! Label says,
"Genuine Leather / Avelar / Guaranty Quality / Made in Mexico."
From the 1930s or 1940s. Completely lined in black leather.
Center divider with pocket and metal zipper. One index-card
sized pocket. Slide closure. Four brass feet. Double handle
with 6" drop above the bag. Piping at the seams. One pocket
on the outside back of the bag. Satchel measures 15" wide at
the base, by 10" high, by 6" deep. Mint condition. No
problems at all.

I'm not sure what this bag was for. Maybe cameras. Maybe
for a saleman's samples? Not a doctor's bag. It's black
pebbled leather, with a real buckle and strap closure. The
fold-over side flaps protect the interior and snap together.
Lined with black leather, with one large pocket, six 4" loops
to hold bottles, four 1 1/2" loops, and one little sissors
pocket. Lining is attached with snaps and is completely
removable. Two leather handles have a 7 1/2" drop. Side
seams are protected with rubber bumpers. There's a little
window pocket on one end of the bag, and the other end has a
"1" painted on in white. Bag measures 12 1/2" wide by 6 1/2"
high by 6 1/4" deep. Near mint. Probably never used.

All black leather tote bag or shopping bag with a label saying,
"Genuine Leather / Made in Colombia, S.A." Lined in black
nylon twill. One inside zippered pocket. Top snap closure.
Handles have a 13 1/2" drop. Pleated side gussets. 12 1/2"
wide by 13 1/2" high by 4" deep. Excellent vintage condition.

Large vintage tote bag, beautifully made from great leather
and wood. The label says, "Made in Colombia S.A. / Genuine
Leather." Handles look like walnut, but they may be some
other South American wood. Bag is nicely top-stitched, with
separately applied reinforcing strips and generously deep
side gussets. Self-lined with the leather's own suede. One
separately applied hanging pocket with flap and snap closure.
Tote is 27" wide by 9" high by 3 1/2" deep. Colombian leather
tote bag is in mint, never carried condition.

1940s or 1950s vintage suitcase that's the perfect size to serve
as a carry-on or under the seat case! It's a Samsonite, with an
oval brass label saying, "Samsonite / Samsonite Bros., Inc,./
Denver, Detroit." Hard, alligator-embossed sides. Hard rubber
handle, imprinted "Samsonite." Lined in reddish brown cotton.
Nice, elaborate metal feet. 15 1/2" wide by 10 1/2" high by
7" deep. Excellent vintage condition. No problems. (The
binding at the side seams has lost lots of its color. I can
fix that, if you like.)

Vintage Land's End cotton canvas book bag or satchel. Nicely
faded black. Front, under the flap, has two huge pockets, one
with zipper, plus five smaller specialty pockets. Central
section is one big, open compartment, plus one big pocket.
Additional zippered pocket in the front flap. Closes with
plastic latches. Top handle has a 2" drop. Cotton webbing
shoulder strap has a 12" to 24" drop and is completely
removeable. Other than the fading, this bag is in mint
condition.
