Coach made several great briefcases, but the Metropolitan
Brief, style 5180, was one of the best. This is a large,
all-leather briefcase in black leather, with a full, gusseted
pocket on the front of the bag, under the flap, and a full-
sized, open slip pocket on the outside of the bag. Inside,
there's a small, separately attached, hanging pocket that
carries the Coach creed and the model number, B5H-5180. The
creed is clearly marked, "Made in the United States." The
briefcase has a padded top handle with brass fittings; the
Coach hang tag is attached. The removeable shoulder strap
is adjustible, with a 15" to 22" drop. As with all vintage
Coach bags, the entire briefcase is self-lined with the leather's
own suede. Measurements are 15 1/2" wide by 11" high by 3"
deep. This briefcase is nicely broken in and is no longer
stiff; it is in mint condition.

Coach Metropolitan Brief, number J7C-5180, in chocolate brown
leather. Self-lined with the leather's own suede. Coach creed
inside and hang tag attached. One hanging pocket inside, one
full-sized front pocket under the flap, and one full-sized open
pocket on the outside back. Adjustible strap has an 18" drop.
Briefcase measures 15 1/2" wide by 11" high by 3" deep. Briefcase
is clean on the inside, with no ink or other stains. I had one
seam re-stitched, where the strap joins the bag, and the bag has
some dings on the outside. So, you get this amazing price.

Large vintage book bag or briefcase with shoulder strap in
excellent vintage condition. Very dark brown leather with
lots of gloss and great patina--also w/ the reddish highlights
that chocolate has! Fastens in front with twist closures on
flap. Two deep pockets on front, under flap. Full slip pocket
on the back of the bag. Inside, a separately applied hanging
pocket has a one large pocket with zipper, one card-sized pocket,
and two pen or pencil loops. Well padded handle on top has a 3"
drop. Shoulder strap fastens with brass hooks, has a serious
shoulder guard, is adjustible with a brass buckle, and has a
maximum 20" drop. This vintage bookbag has no maker's label.
It may have been hand made. It is beautifully constructed of
very high-end leather. It has been carried, and it will
probably outlast you. You can will it to your granddaughter.
16 1/2" wide by 10" high by 3" deep. Excellent vintage condition
Nicely broken in.

Very large, retro Land black leather briefcase with two
completely opening sides (ie, unzips on three sides) with black
nylon lining and interior pockets. Full, exterior zippered
pocket on front of the bag. Padded top handle with brass
brackets. Shoulder strap with shoulder guard is completely
removeable and has a 19" to 22" drop. Large brass feet on the
reinforced base. Mint condition.

Creamy brown vinyl tote from the 1950s to you. Needlepoint
look brocade insert on the front of the bag. Rigid handles
have a 5" drop and special gadgets to keep them from falling
over. The sides and base of the bag are rigid. Lined in black
vinyl. One large pocket with metal zipper. Tote is 13" wide
at the base, 15" wide at the top, 12" high, and 4" deep. Again,
