Really gorgous alligator handbag, one of the best we've had
in a long time. In the gently rounded shape of the 1940s,
with a heavy duty brass frame with alligator inserts on both
sides of the bag. All of the skins are in great shape, with
no lifting or curling of the scales. The handle is alligator
on both sides, is beautifully contoured to fit in your hand,
has a 6" drop, and is in immaculate condition. The Eames-era
brass closture is nicely stepped and snaps perfectly. All the
brass is in great shape, including the four brass feet. The bag'
lining is smooth black leather, and it has two pockets, one
with a metal zipper. Theis vintage alligator handbag 12" wide
wide at the base, by 6" high, by 4" deep. The sides are rigid,
of course, and the base is well reinforced. Mint condition.

Oxblood (or mahogany or maroon or whatever you called it at
your house) Aigner leather satchel with brass fittings and a
oxblood leather interior. "Etienne Aigner / Hand Made" inside.
Completely lined with oxblood leather. Two large pockets, one
with a metal zipper. Nice brass closure with the tiny brass
Aigner horseshoe, plus another horseshoe on the flap's corner.
The heavy, reinforced leather creates the rigid sides and base
of the bag. Completely rigid, padded leather handle has a 4"
drop. This vintage Aigner satchel measures 12" wide by 9" high
by 4" deep. Excellent vintage condition. No problems at all.
Wonderful patina. Beautifully broken in!

Absolutely mint condition! Perfect! 1950s hard-sided handbag
by designer Murray Kruger. Smooth, matte-finished black leather.
Very well padded handle is rigid and has a 4" drop. Flawless
embossed Florentine-style insert on the front of the bag is gold
with blue, red, and black--an extremely delicate pattern. Brass
fittings include a fold-over barrel closure and four little brass
feet. Black leather lining, with two very large pockets, one wit
a metal zipper. The Murray Kruger signature inside, and the
original mirror. Bag measures 9" wide by 6" high by 3 1/4" deep.
Again, absolutely mint, as if you'd just purchased it at Marshall
Field's.

Jean Fogel's very distinctive organizer-satchel handbag in
olive green (or camouflage green) leather. The label says,
"Jean Fogel / Paris / New York" with Fogel's trademark rooster
head or cock's head embroidered on the label. A tiny embossed
metal cock is attached to the center of the front flap, too.
Inside, the satchel has two central dividers with pockets that
close with metal zippers. The large pocket on the back wall of
the bag has a metal zipper, too. The bag has an intricate brass
closure, four brass feet, and hand stitched top-stitching. The
double handles have a 10" drop. The leather portions of the bag
are self-lined with the leather's own suede. This Jean Fogel
vintage satchel is 12 1/2" wide, by 7 1/2" high, by 6 1/4" deep.
Generous side gussets, with pleats. Mint condition. Probably
never used. Guaranteed to garner compliments!
