Very dark navy blue leather with imprinted lizard texture and
lots and lots of character. Some suffragette may have carried
this bag! This double frame bag is in the best shape of any
we've had. The brass metal, especially, is in impeccable
condition. The brass frame is marked with JEMCO in the JEMCO
diamond, embossed on the frame in two places. Since this is a
double frame bag, with the kiss clasp coin purse suspended in
the inside center of the pouch. Navy blue silk faille lining is
intact. Leather strap has a 5" drop and is suspended from the
arch of the layered "crown." Leather is gathered in tiny gather
and hangs from the brass frame. Bag measures 8 1/2" wide at the
widest point, by 6 1/2" high (not counting frame) by 1 1/2" deep,
with expandible side gussets. Near mint condition, with some wea
on the fabric of the coin purse. Leather is perfect.

Beautifully beaded! Dark navy blue silk broadcloth covered
with dark blue and dark silver faceted glass beads. 1 1/2"
fringe around the drawstring top, at the base of the bag, and
1/2" fringe at the sides of the bag. Lined with more navy
blue silk. Cord drawstring. 5" wide at the top of the bag,
by 7" high. Excellent antique condition. I don't think
any beads are missing. Lining is in remarkably good shape--
mint!

Exquisite hand done tooling on this large antique leather bag.
Very fine leather that still creaks when it is moved. Bag
is beautifully padded--lots of padding in all the right places.
Front pocket--also tooled--just under the flap. Mirror pocket
just above it, under the flap. Leather lining with center divider
that has a pocket with a metal zipper. Two pockets and a pencil
loop on the back wall of the bag. Strap has an 8" drop. 9 1/4"
wide at the top, 7" wide at the base, by 8 1/2" high, by 2 3/4"
deep. This bag took hours and hours and hours to make--by hand,
of course! Excellent antique condition.

Great ox blood colored suitcase that I think can fairly be
called a Gladstone bag. Large brass buckle for the leather
belt that goes completely around the bag. Two padded, semi-
rigid handles with a 7" drop. Two buckles that close bag.
(No, I don't have the key, but your local locksmith could make
one.) Raised leather trim is padded to help keep the bag rigid.
Bag is completely lined with more reddish tan leather and has
two very large pockets, both with metal zippers. Seriously
reinforce base and sides. Four large feet on the bottom of
the bag. This antique suitcase or Gladstone bag measures
17 1/2" wide, by 12" high 9 1/2" deep. Excellent antique
condition. No problems. Use it tomorrow!

Gorgeous Lewis handbag in chocolate-colored, lightly textured
leather. The really special feature about this bag is the
coins--they certainly LOOK real, although I suppose that's
unlikely. Lined with chocolate brown satin. Two inside
pockets, both trimmed with gold piping. The matching coin
purse is attached with a very fine gold chain. Double handles
have a 3 1/2" drop. This Lewis bag measures 7 3/4" wide at the
base, by 8" high, by 1 1/2" deep. Excellent vintage condition.
Not a single problem.
