Spectacular antique bag in flawless condition. Wide, high
tortoise shell Lucite frame with black wool pouch, beautifully
padded. Frame has a built-in tab and slot closure, with the
handles adding extra stability. Pleated grosgrain ruffle
fitted into side seams. Black grosgrain handles have a 5 1/2"
drop. Lining is tightly woven black pique cotton, with one
inside pocket. Bag measures 9" wide at the base, by 5" wide at
the top, by 7" high (without the frame,) by 6" deep. Frame adds
another 2" height. Again, this bag is in mint, never carried
condition.

Very pretty and very old oval box bag with a "Hand Made in
Japan" label inside. Taupe linen with natural fiber embrodiery,
plus crocheted balls for closure and lid finial. Off-white
silk lining with one pocket. 5 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high by
3 3/4" deep. Excellent antique condition.

Charming! I've never seen a Corde bag in such perfect condition.
Deep navy blue with an elaborate petal pattern on the front of
the bag, a geometric diamond pattern on the back. Even the sides
base and handle are corded. The tulip shape of the bag follows
the shape of the leaf pattern on the bag. Inside, the bag is
lined with matching satin. The center section closes with a metal
zipper, with a deep pocket on either side. The bag measures 12"
wide at the top of the bag, 9 1/2" wide at the base, by 7" high,
by 2" deep. Handle has a 6" drop. Base and sides are stiff with
reinforcing, giving the bag a hard-sided look. Mint condition!

Gorgeous Victorian coin purse made from a sea shell. Lovely
shades of pink and cream. The brass has a soft gold tone.
About 2 3/4" square. Seductively smooth. Absolutely mint
condition.

Great bag! Now, notice. This is NOT a small evening bag,
although you could use it that way. This Whiting and Davis
bag was intended as a daytime bag, at 9" wide at the base by
8" high. The celluloid chain has a 5" drop. Fun and rather
dramatic celluloid frame is made of art deco stepped cylindars.
The lining is navy blue faille, with one pocket. Excellent
vintage condition. One link of the chain was replaced with a
brass link. No missing tiles. (Marked down from $60.00.)

Bright cobalt blue beads with pearls on this small antique
evening bag or clutch. (See the Wikipedia color chart, if you'd
like to be sure we match.) Embroidered fabric label says,
"Made in France / Hand Made." Snap closure. Pearl pattern
continues on the back of the clutch. Hand loop or strap on
back, too. Lined with blue silk faille. Lining is perfect.
A few pearls have lost their luster, but the bag is missing
NO beads or pearls. The blue is amazingly vivid. Measurements
are 5 1/2" wide at the base, by 4 1/4" wide at the top, by 3 1/4"
high, by 1 1/2" deep with the side gussets extended. Nearly
mint!
